There are two types of inspections available:

*Full Inspection
*Pre-Inspection

The full inspection includes a extensive written report and photographs.  The complete observation of the house includes structure and basement, roofing system and exterior, interior and attic, electrical, plumbing and bathroom, heating and cooling, and grounds.  Specialized equipment such as a gas leak detector, moisture detector, humidity and mold detector, and electrical system tester and more. 

The pre-inspection is a verbal walk through used to identify potential problems and solutions.  This type of inspection is most useful to sellers and investors. Problems are corrected before putting the property on the market in order to insure a smooth transaction.
